Training Courses

Are you a new Rover, wishing you could take a more active role running your Crew? Have you been a Rover for a few years and ready to start taking over leadership at Crew, Region or State levels? Are you just interested in learning more about the running of your section?

If you answered yes to any of the above, look no further. The next Rover BPS offers this and so much more. A two day course run in one of the nicest training centres in NSW, Pennant Hills Scout Camp, will teach you about programming for a Crew, the challenges Rovers face, getting involvement in all areas of SPICES (You’ll learn what it means too) and even how to encourage new members to join.

If you are interested in this, you’ll need to log onto elearning and complete all your online training, and fill in an application form which can be found (here). Closing date to apply and complete elearning is December 24th, 2015, so get moving. It is a great weekend, and an opportunity for you to meet Rovers from Statewide.

Reminder: If you are intending on running for a Crew Leader Role for 2016-2017, you are required to complete this training, no exceptions.

If you have any questions about the course, applying, or are considering applying and want more information email Simone Haider on training@scatrovers.com.au.
